COUNSELING FOR ANXIETY

FEELING ANXIOUS, HAVING RACING THOUGHTS, TROUBLE SLEEPING, DIFFICULTY PROCESSING AND FEELING FEARFUL?

Therapy to address anxiety symptoms can provide relief for frequently feeling anxious, nervous or fearful of change or life challenges.  Many people suffer from panic attacks, increased stress that can lead to physiological stressors or illnesses, and mental blocks.  In therapy, clients learn coping strategies to include relaxation techniques, guided imagery, and strategies to calm thoughts by utilizing deep breathing, and other skills.  It can be helpful with finding your center, redirecting thoughts, and disputing irrational thinking that often trigger anxiety related responses and "snowball effects" making a small problem a bigger issue or concern.
